Welcome to The Tauz Blaug. This site is a place where I can post some thoughts that will try to entertain both you and I. My thoughts tend to frequently contain sweary-type words, for which I will not apologize, because I am a potty-mouth. It's (sadly) a part of who I am, and this site is a reflection of my personality. So...not only do I hope that the bug up your ass dies while you are reading The Blaug, but I also hope you actually enjoy my ramblings! Be sure to leave me a comment if either of these things happen!

The Tauz's T-shirt Hangar
It's a calendar, fools!
A Mayan calendar, I believe. And I saw a real-life one of these bad boys carved out of stone inside the museum/temple thing in Uxmal, Mexico.
I bought this tee in the only country other than the U.S. that I've ever been to. And this was back in April or May of '98, (98!!) on a trip with my Spanish class to multiple spots across the border.
I really didn't buy too many things while I was on this trip, but two of those things that I did buy are pictured above. The blanket is one of my favorite things, and I still use it on my bed to this day. The shirt is still wearable, 10+ years later, and wear it, I do!
Fuzzy Memory: I think I talked to Annie about buying this shirt, because I think she bought the same one, only in black and white, at the same time I did. That might be completely wrong, but it sticks out in my head, for some reason.
This was also the trip on which I earned the nickname Pepe, I did my first tequila shot, and Dana and I got wicked sunburn, poolside in Cancun. (She turned purple.) I seldom think of this trip when I wear this shirt, but looking back... it was a very good trip!
