Whirlwind May Wrap-up

So much has been going on since May 14th (my last post) that it's blowing my mind. There's so much that I have wanted to add to The Blaug, but I've been too busy/lazy (read Tauzin-like) to make good on those desires. So instead of actual all-out entries on each thing that has happened lately, here's an un-bulleted Bullet Point List (TM pending: Dr. Richard Lamberski) of what's been going on (in super-magical reverse chronological order):

Working on a new layout for The Blaug (with help from The Masterful Tony).

Pulling stuff together for Retreat '07.

Somehow not regretting my participation in a game of Ultimate Frisbee in Stewartstown Sunday evening during which I kicked my own ass. (One stubbed finger, one gash on my nose and one bruised and aching right hand.)

I got hit in the nose by a Frisbee

Decided to play Ultimate Frisbee in Stewartstown....IN THE POURING RAIN!!

My trip to Louisiana to see family with my bro Mark.

Said trip was sadly prompted by the passing of my other grandmother, Maman Emily (Dad's mom). I will miss her dearly.

I got to hang with Ali! She rules. Woo!

I busted my Video iChat Cherry with two of the gentlest of men on teh Internets...
(L-R) Joe, Small Me taking a pic, Tony

I dug into my iMac with wild abandon...

Let the perverted Photoshopping begin...

...in more ways than one.

After it FINALLY FUCKING ARRIVED a few days after it was expected and after my blood pressure totally peaked at an all time high.

Now you're all caught up. Sorry I'm not so good at blogging at the speed of life. You know how some people "Live life in the fast lane"? Not me. There's The Slow Lane and The Fast Lane. And then there's where I live: The Way Fuckin' Fast Lane.

Stay with me, because June is always one of my busiest months....and this one is PACKED with excitement--Wizard World Comic Book Convention in Philly, Retreat '07, Father's Day, Rush concert at Nissan Post Pavilion (Virginia), and another Game Night. With attractions like that on the horizon, I need to remember the premise of Project Resolution and write more often! Plus I hate to hold out on my legions of adoring followers such as yourself... I'll try harder... FOR YOU!
