The Inevitable Lapse

The Apology

So...in accordance with my well-documented habit, it has been a while since I dropped a Blaug update on y'all.

I'm sorry.

I am not gonna tell you it won't happen again, cuz we all know that would be a load of well-meant but utter bullshit. But I WILL tell you that I have a gameplan for the next week or so. And past experience tells me that, both in life and in The Blaug, when I have a plan, I tend to be more proactive. That being said, I'm still sorry it's been so long since my last update.

The Sad Excuses

The excuses for not posting for the last few weeks are as follows:

1) The (now-failed) Early Workout Project.

2) The weird summer schedule.

3) The Laziness.

4) The Harry Potter: First the movie, then the book. I'll have more on this later.

The Plan

I'm working on several posts simultaneously right now. My hope is to get a bunch of posts into cyber-print and out to y'all ASAP. These will be the entry-worthy stories that have been going on since the last time I posted. And this all is a part of my plan to celebrate a Blaug milestone in A Very Special Tribute Post.

The Bone Being Thrown

Here's something that I saw in my Junk Mail that struck me as fucking hilarious, gross, and dead-on for a bit of "Sorry I've Been Slacking Humor".



Let's explore the conundrum this presents to me, just for a sec...
- They promise weight loss, which I obviously don't need.
- 20 Pounds is a lot of shit.
+ I love poop-related topics.
- I've been victim to enough Gluten-fueled "cleansings" that I have no desire to go through that type of experience again, specifically not 20 pounds worth.
Conclusion: The Spammer found a good way to get (specifically my) attention, but their service is not needed here. Thanks for the comedy, tho. DELETED!
