Here are a few quick pictures I took because the subjects made me think of people who were not there with me to enjoy them.
First up:
A couple of pirates for Anna. When I went to nonchalantly snap their picture, they snapped at me. They thought I was trying to take pictures of their art so I could 'pirate it' and use it on the Internets. Irony. And I know you're "pirates," but you don't have to be a dick about it. Yaargh. They calmed down a bit and let me take a pic when I told them that I was just taking a picture of them in costume to show my friend.
Next up:
There was an assload of wrestling action figures everywhere at the Con. It was nuts. And even though we failed to spot King Kong Bundee, who was supposed to be there, we did see these things all over the place. This shot is for T.O.-ny. Can you smell what the classic WWF figures are cooking? (Sorry...that's the only wrestling reference I can think of right now, dude.)
And this happened:
This shot is for Bekah, because she likes robots. And she likes Molyneaux. And this combines the two into one awesomely mystical creature: The Sharpie Robot Super Quick Sketching On The Arm of Molyneaux. Legend has it that it came when a fleeting moment of boredom passed over our heroes while waiting for Claire Bennett to show up and tell us about how much she loves whales and parties.
And last, but not least:
Stargate toys for my big brothers who are huge nerds for SciFi Channel shows. (Not that there's anything wrong with that...) If there were ever some sort of science fiction convention for this kind of stuff, I bet they'd both be there quicker than a Klingon could swing that nasty-looking double blade thingy they use so often. Anyways, I saw this spread of toys and thought of them.
The next and final chapter of the Wizard World posts is drawing NEAR.
Stay tuned. You won't regret it.

Your lack of knowledge of wrestling catchphrases, save for one from the much-vaunted "Attitude Era," is forgiven.
It's just nice to know you care.
And that's the bottom line, because T.O.-ny said so. Ass beer.
woo! robots!!!
Ssssh don't tell your brothers, but there just WAS a convention for that, it's the one I just finished with. :p
I, on the other hand, know nothing of SG-any number, Doctor Who, DS9, Heroes, or the like 10 other fandoms that everyone was going nuts for at Polaris. And here I am at the conn making a documentary and faking it like a motherfucker. :p
